A history of doing it right.

Like many of the most successful companies today, Eurorite started with one guy in a garage. Bill Longman started the company that would become Eurorite with a simple goal — he wanted to make beautiful, affordable, long-lasting European-style cabinets for his friends and family.

Our origins as a one-man show aren’t unique, but our passion has stayed true through 40 years of evolution. We’ve just gotten even better at what we do.

As time went on, and Eurorite gained employees and clients, we realized that our passion ran deeper than cabinets. We want to create great spaces — places where you feel at home, spaces that spark joy. Sure, that means crafting beautiful cabinets, but it also feeds into our passion for caring for every client. We want to know how you’re doing after the installation, give you cleaning tips for your new cabinets, and support you in every way we can.

A business built on relationships.

One of our favourite stories at Eurorite is how our current CEO, Chris MacKinnon, met our founder. While touring our factory he met a man who was caked in sawdust from head to toe as he cleaned out the dust collector. They shook hands, and after shaking a bit of the dust off, Bill Longman introduced himself.

This spirit of doing whatever needs to be done, no matter what position we hold, is one of the parts of Eurorite we’re most proud of. Titles don’t separate us. We’re all in this together, all creating a better company and a stronger community.

This approach has been one of our greatest strengths and assets. One of our main approaches at Eurorite is to treat everyone like family, whether they’re employees, dealers, suppliers, or clients, and our connections are something we deeply value. Many of our suppliers have worked with us for decades, and our partnerships are what helped keep us afloat in challenging times. We’re incredibly grateful for these relationships and appreciative how they are built around the same values as us.

A future shaped by builders.

This history has shaped who we are today. The importance of authentic and heartfelt values has remained true in Eurorite during these 40 years, and it’s a culture we’ll always maintain going forward.

We value our craftspeople, our builders, the backbone of our company. While we use a lot more technology today than we did 40 years ago, people are continuously the heart of our business. They’re just using machines to create even more precise cabinets.

We’re the same Eurorite we’ve always been — a friendly Canadian company building high-quality European style cabinets — and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
